Papa Kona Events and Catering started out as a small piece of the Daylight Mind Coffee Company puzzle. The Kailua-Kona restaurant, roastery, bakery, and café had an underutilized ocean-front bar and lanai that was begging for someone to notice that it was absolutely PERFECT for parties! When Julia Pittman saw the space, she felt that the world needed to know about this little slice of heaven on the water. After several years of running Daylight Mind Events and Catering, our team joined in a new venture with one of the Big Island’s most exciting coffee brands, Papa Kona Coffee and Events.

With a little time, and some five-star reviews, Papa Kona Events & Catering has grown into one of the busiest venues on the Big Island, coordinating and catering over 150 events per year.

As a company in demand, we’ve been able to attract amazing talent, employing passionate Event Coordinators, Chefs, Catering Staff, and Pastry Chefs.
